How to install an AMD athlon 64x2 on a 64 bit OS?? When i try to install a AMD processor driver on my WIndows 7 64bit OS it gives me an error: "This operation system is not supported by the AMD processor driver" so what now? i cant find any

The processor type you are mentioning is definitely a 64 bit cpu. All of AMD's dual cores and above are 64 bit processors. It is not the cpu that is the problem. It is either the motherboard bios that is incorrectly reporting the cpu type to Windows
