This has always bothered me... How to people type the Chinese and Japanese characters onto the computer? Do they have some kind of special keyboard? What does it look like? Thanks.
Typing east Asian languages is easy when you know how. Chinese, for example may be written in "pinyin". This is typing in the Roman alphabet the sounds,on an ordinary western keyboard, rather than using the Chinese script.
