LCD Dell 1905FP problem: horizontal stripes running all over the screen

Unfortunately, the arms don't have enough vertical play for every trick I'd like to pull with them. Here, I can stack the monitors, but I can't get them far enough apart to make them wrap in a concave fashion. Not that I'd need to, but it would be cool if I could. It would be possible...

I can turn the monitors 90° on their stands and then change their orientations in the NVidia properties. This is a 5-story mural I snapped downtown. Again, the arms can't get far enough apart vertically to allow me to keep them planar, or angled toward each other. Oh well.

I've been wanting adjustable arms for about a year now. Some assembly definitely required. The second of the two came with two bags of the black plate and screws/thumbknobs, and no bag of the silver metal pieces. I'm glad I didn't need them. They're for through-hole mounting.
